Bessie Ann Jewell Slaten
BESSIE ANN JEWELL SLATEN, the wife and homemaker of Charles Glen Slaten of Beattyville, Kentucky, and the daughter of Hent Fox of Beattyville and the late Reba Barrett Fox, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on May 13, 1961 and departed this life at her home in Lee County on September 21, 2023 at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 8 days.
In addition to her husband Glen and father Hent, Mrs. Slaten is survived by two children, Miranda Frye and Jesse Jewell both of Beattyville, Kentucky; two sisters, Shannon Caudill and Lizzie Fox; five brothers, Chris, Stanley, Orville, David and Fred Fox; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Slaten was preceded in death by her mother; a sister, Nancy McDaniel;; and a brother, Kenton Fox.
